Radiator sealant Hi-Gear Radiator Stop Leak - developed for the effective correction of leaks in the cooling systems and radiators of vehicles.

Advantages:

it effectively eliminates leaks of coolant (antifreeze) in various places, such as the soldered seams of copper radiators, the joint between the plastic tanks and the aluminium heat exchanger of modern composite radiators, punctured radiator tubes, damage to the gasket of the pump or of the thermostat;it does not evaporate and withstands high temperature, remaining in the cooling system and preventing further leaks;safe for aluminium, steel, cast iron, non-ferrous alloys, plastic and rubber;compatible with all types of coolant (antifreeze) and with water;it does not clog the radiator tubes, but hardens only while flowing out of the place of the leak. Method of application

Switch off the engine and let it cool down.Remove the radiator cap, shake the bottle vigorously and pour the compound into the radiator.If there is no radiator cap, disconnect the hose, pour the compound in through the upper radiator pipe and restore the hose connection, or pour the compound into the expansion tank, having first drained 2-3 litres of coolant.Bring the coolant level up to normal.Fully open the heater tap, if one is provided for by the design.Start the engine, warm it up at idle at medium revs (2500-3000 rpm) for 5-7 minutes.Switch off the engine and let it cool.Top up the coolant to normal and operate the vehicle in the normal way.
