Radiator sealant Hi-Gear Radiator & Block Seal - intended for repairing leaks of the gasket, of the cylinder head and block, and of radiators. It can be used with coolant (antifreeze) or with water.

Advantages

It reliably eliminates leakage of coolant (antifreeze) through the cylinder head gasket. It repairs cracked aluminium or cast-iron engine heads and blocks in a way not inferior to welding.It is able to eliminate even significant leaks of copper, aluminium, plastic and composite radiators and of heater cores.It withstands vibration, temperature fluctuations and high pressure, it is not washed out and does not dissolve.This formula contains a unique combination of the finest ceramic fibres, which give the repaired area high strength characteristics. The compound reaches the place of the leak (the crack) together with the coolant, forms a metal-ceramic plug which, polymerizing, expands. Thanks to a coefficient of thermal expansion close to that of metals and to a certain elasticity of the ceramic fibres, it provides a durable repair. Method of application

Open the interior heater tap.Start and warm up the engine with the radiator cap open.Switch off the engine.It is recommended to remove the spark plug also from the cylinder in whose combustion chamber a crack has been found.Start the engine and, having mixed it thoroughly, pour the product into the radiator (open the pack at a distance from your face).Top up the coolant (antifreeze) to normal.Close the radiator cap and let the engine run at idle for 10 - 15 minutes.The leakage should stop a few minutes after the engine reaches operating temperature.The product can remain in the cooling system for an unlimited time and prevent leakage further on. This pack of the compound is intended for a cooling system with a volume of up to 15 litres.
