Formosa

Formosa is a selective pre- and early post-emergence herbicide formulated as a suspension concentrate, combining S-metolachlor (312.5 g/L) and terbuthylazine (187.5 g/L). It controls a broad spectrum of annual grass and broadleaf weeds in sunflower and maize. In sunflower it works as a soil herbicide applied before, during, or after sowing prior to crop emergence; in maize it can also be sprayed early post-emergence while weeds are small. Adequate surface-soil moisture ensures a stable herbicidal screen.
