Eclipse

Eclipse — a soil-applied pre-emergence herbicide in the form of a suspension concentrate with a prometryn content of 500 g/l, a triazine photosystem II inhibitor. It controls annual dicotyledonous and some grass weeds in crops of sunflower and carrot. It is absorbed by the root system and the leaves and moves from the bottom upwards, stopping susceptible weeds immediately after germination. The soil is sprayed before sowing, at the same time as sowing or after sowing before the emergence of the crop; on carrot application at the 2–4 leaf stage is also possible. The application rate depends on the level of weed infestation and the humus content of the soil.
