About this product
DKC 4897 — a mid-late maize hybrid from Dekalb with FAO 380 and grain of the dent type. It combines good drought resistance and cold resistance (8/9 each) with high stability and plasticity (9/9), a healthy strong stem and a strong root system. High resistance to stalk and ear fusarium (9/9) provides prolonged standing in the field until harvesting, and the ear sets 20–22 rows of kernels. The hybrid is recommended for all growing zones and all soil types except sandy ones, for grain and silage use, in particular under irrigation.
