DKC 4741 — a mid-late maize hybrid from Dekalb with FAO 370 and grain of the dent type, suitable for grain and silage use. It combines high stability and plasticity in zones of sufficient and unstable moisture with high initial growth energy, good drought and cold resistance and resistance to stalk and ear fusarium. It is grown on all soil types at medium and high nutrition levels, withstands monoculture and short-term standing in the field, and is suited to traditional, minimum and strip-till tillage.
