CRC aerosol corrosion protection SP 400

CRC SP 400 – a long-acting corrosion inhibitor used outdoors and indoors, for mechanical surfaces and assemblies subject to long periods of storage or unfavourable transport conditions. The dry amber-coloured film, which contains wax, never becomes brittle and has high moisture resistance and resistance to severe corrosive conditions.

Properties:

long-term protection (up to 1 year outdoors) for all metals during transport or long-term storage;the wax film effectively insulates and protects against moisture;high moisture resistance and resistance to salt spray;it can be removed or thinned in order to change the film thickness by means of petroleum solvents;the aerosol pack uses СО2 propellant for controlled application and control of the film thickness. Application:

protection of finished components, semi-finished products and materials during manufacture, of goods during transport, of raw materials and of structural steel;an effective anti-corrosion shield for sea transport, storage of agricultural machinery, outdoor storage;protection of equipment, tools, stampings, casting moulds, assembly and mounting fixtures, pipes, shafts, axles, housings, crankcases, steel cables, pumps, transmission mechanisms;as a rule it is used at cold-storage plants for protection against salt water and chloride compounds;it is used at pulp and paper industry enterprises;it is used as a sealing compound for cable ends and as a protector for pipeline joints;protection of air-conditioning equipment and electrical equipment in hospitals and educational institutions;it is used at airports and in the servicing of aviation equipment and in construction.
