Overview
About this product
Magnesium, per the maker, is needed by all grape plantings: it is a basic component of chlorophyll and helps the leaf absorb more sunlight so that the fruit reaches proper Brix. Per the maker, the supplement also helps prevent physiological disorders caused by calcium shortage: blossom end rot of tomato, bitter pit of pome fruit, corky spot and black heart.
Field, row and vegetable crops and grapes are treated at 2.5–5 l/ha per application during the growing season, at least 3 applications; correcting a deficiency may need more frequent ones at 3.5 l/ha, pre-sowing 10–20 l/ha.
Application
Rate, timing and crops
- Method
Field, row and vegetable crops and grapes: 2.5–5 l/ha per application during the growing season, at least 3 applications
Correcting a deficiency that has already appeared may need more frequent applications at 3.5 l/ha
- Conditions
The optimum rate depends on soil properties (pH, organic matter content, texture), weather, time of year, general condition and species of the crop
For a better result the maker advises soil or leaf analysis
- Tank mix
Can be mixed in the tank with most fungicides, insecticides and plant growth regulators

Questions & answers
What farmers ask most
- Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. Urea and other straight nitrogen grades are not an NPK complex: a cereal ballpark is often 100–250 kg/ha of product, but the exact dose is an agronomist's call.
