BRANDT Converge 28 — liquid slow-release nitrogen fertilizer, N 28%: urea nitrogen 11% and urea-formaldehyde nitrogen 17%, for foliar treatments and fertigation.

Main advantages

  • Urea nitrogen 11% — acts immediately
  • Urea-formaldehyde nitrogen 17% — released gradually
  • Foliar 300–500 cm³/hl — about 8–10 weeks
  • Through the roots 5–15 l/ha — about 14 weeks of nutrition
  • Lower risk of phytotoxicity and burn — per the maker

Overview

About this product

Urea nitrogen acts immediately, while urea-formaldehyde nitrogen is released gradually and gives longer-lasting nutrition. After foliar treatment at 300–500 cm³/hl, per the maker, nitrogen is released over about 8–10 weeks.

Through the roots at 5–15 l/ha the fertilizer penetrates quickly through the xylem, and nitrogen supply lasts about 14 weeks. The maker also points to higher nitrogen efficiency compared with soluble fertilizers, less leaching, fixation and decomposition, and a lower risk of phytotoxicity or burn.

Container 4 l and 10 l.

Questions & answers

What farmers ask most

  • Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. Urea and other straight nitrogen grades are not an NPK complex: a cereal ballpark is often 100–250 kg/ha of product, but the exact dose is an agronomist's call.
