DAP has the highest P content among common solid phosphate fertilizers, making it logistics-efficient. Applied mostly as starter (band-row at seeding or localized), rarely broadcast — free ammonium can 'burn' seed. Rate for cereals 80–150 kg/ha physical weight (37–69 kg P₂O₅/ha). Imports: Morocco (OCP), Saudi Arabia (Ma'aden), USA, Russia (blocked under sanctions since 2022); Ukraine has no domestic DAP production — Sumykhimprom makes only MAP.
