Yukon

Yukon is a soil-applied pre-emergence herbicide formulated as a suspension concentrate with 500 g/L terbuthylazine, a systemic triazine. It controls annual broadleaf weeds — including amaranth, lambsquarters, black nightshade, wild mustard, wild radish and cocklebur — by root uptake and Photosystem II inhibition that halts photosynthesis. Applied immediately after sowing before crop emergence, ideally onto a fine, moist seedbed, it forms a surface screen that suppresses germinating weeds for six to eight weeks.
