Overview

About this product

WUXAL BIO Aminocalcium — a highly concentrated complex of mineral elements and biologically active substances for preventing and correcting calcium deficiency. 1 l contains 202 g CaO, 68 g amino acids and polypeptides and 6.7 g each of manganese and zinc. There is no mineral nitrogen, so on apples in the second half of the season the product does not trigger secondary growth of young shoots.

Per the maker, the polypeptides and the product's pH help calcium penetrate the dense skin of the fruit, and application before harvest improves storability and transportability. It holds FiBL and Organic Standard certificates for organic farming.

What farmers ask most

  • Rates depend on crop, prior history, soil analysis and nutrient status. An agronomist sets the dose from this product's label — not an NPK-complex template of 150–300 kg/ha.
