Віарес — системний інсектицид класу неонікотиноїдів у формі концентрату суспензії, що містить 300 г/л ацетаміприду. Препарат контролює широкий спектр сисних і гризучих шкідників — клопів, трипсів, жуків і попелиць — на ріпаку та яблуні. Він швидко поглинається рослиною й поширюється трансламінарно, знищуючи шкідників при контакті та поїданні обробленої поверхні через ураження нервової системи. Обробку починають за перевищення економічного порогу шкідливості, рівномірно обприскуючи польові культури нормою 200-400 л/га, а сади — 600-1000 л/га.
