Muriate of potash, MOP K60 (potassium chloride)
Muriate of potash, MOP K60 — a KCl potassium fertilizer with at least 60% K₂O in pressed granules, mainly for autumn application to crops with low sensitivity to chlorine.
Main advantages
- K₂O not less than 60% — KCl potassium fertilizer
- Autumn, before autumn ploughing — recommended timing
- Physiologically acidic — weaker on acid soils
- Low hygroscopicity, does not cake — per the seller
- Utilization coefficient up to 70% — per the seller
Overview
About this product
Muriate of potash, MOP K60 — potassium chloride (KCl) with a K₂O mass fraction of not less than 60% and water not more than 0.5%, in the form of pressed red-brown granules of irregular shape. Potassium is advised to be applied in autumn before autumn ploughing, and under intensive technologies locally at sowing and by feeding in small doses.
It is recommended for cereal, oilseed, sugar and fibre crops with a high potassium need and low sensitivity to chlorine; it is also applied in autumn so that the chlorine washes deeper. The fertilizer is physiologically acidic, so its effectiveness falls on acid soils.

What farmers ask most
- Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. This is a straight fertiliser, not an NPK complex at 150–300 kg/ha. An agronomist sets the dose from nutrient offtake.
