Overview

About this product

KSC SULFACID — a special liquid fertilizer for root-zone application by fertigation that improves nutrition by releasing and using nutrients already present in the soil. Composition: 15% nitrogen, 41% SO3 and the LCN biocomplex.

The plant-derived LCN complex inhibits nitrification and slows the conversion of ammonium nitrogen to nitrate; per the maker, this reduces nitrate accumulation and nitrogen losses from leaching and improves the uptake of phosphorus and micronutrients. The maker also states that the fertilizer reduces soil salinity.

Pack size: canister 30 kg.

Questions & answers

What farmers ask most

  • Rates depend on crop, prior history and soil analysis. Urea and other straight nitrogen grades are not an NPK complex: a cereal ballpark is often 100–250 kg/ha of product, but the exact dose is an agronomist's call.
