Terra Tarsa·Secondary Nutrients
Magnesium sulfate
Magnesium sulfate — a crystalline, fully soluble magnesium-sulfur fertilizer with 16% MgO and 12% sulfur for fertigation and foliar feeding of cereals, oilseed rape, potato, sugar beet, maize and pea.
Main advantages
- MgO 16% and S 12% — magnesium and sulfur together
- Leaf 1.5–2%, fertigation 0.1–0.2% — two methods
- Sulfur slows nitrate accumulation — maker's data
- Two feeds per season — a scheme for six crops
Overview
About this product
Magnesium sulfate from Terra Tarsa — a highly concentrated source of magnesium and sulfur: 16% MgO and 12% S in a special crystalline, fully soluble form for fertigation and foliar feeding. Per the maker, magnesium raises the intensity of photosynthesis and chlorophyll formation, activates enzymes and supports the structure of cell walls and membranes, while sulfur is part of proteins, amino acids and vitamins, takes part in nitrate assimilation and slows nitrate accumulation in fruit.
Solution concentration for foliar feeding 1.5–2%, for fertigation 0.1–0.2%; two feeds per season.
