Tanart

Tanart is a contact fungicide for apple orchards, formulated as water-dispersible granules containing 780 g/kg captan, a multi-site phthalimide active. It protects fruit trees against apple scab, brown spot and fruit rot by disrupting fungal respiration and cell-membrane permeability, stopping spore germination before infection takes hold. Applied preventively as a full-canopy spray in 500–1000 litres of water per hectare, ideally about a day before rain, it stays rainfast and preserves the storability and marketability of the fruit.
