About this product
Talius is a locally-systemic protectant fungicide based on proquinazid (200 g/l) formulated as an emulsion concentrate. Applied to wheat and barley during vegetation at 0.15–0.25 l/ha, it controls powdery mildew, including races resistant to other chemical groups. Proquinazid acts by contact and through an active vapour phase, inhibiting spore germination and appressoria formation while triggering the plant's own defence response for up to six weeks of protection.
