Сокар — системний гербіцид-десикант суцільної дії на основі гліфосату (436 г/л у формі амонійної солі) у формі розчинного концентрату. Препарат проникає в рослини через листя та стебла й переноситься по всіх органах, включаючи коріння, де блокує синтез ароматичних амінокислот і руйнує клітинні структури. Контролює однорічні та багаторічні злакові й дводольні бур'яни, зокрема ті, що важко викорінюються. Застосовують у період активного росту бур'янів за сухої безвітряної погоди при температурі +10…+25 °C.
