About this product
SILKER is a physically-acting insecticide and acaricide formulated as an emulsifiable concentrate based on 75% polyalkyleneoxide-modified heptamethyltrisiloxane plus a patented blend of polymeric compounds. It forms a polymer film on soft-bodied pests, immobilising them and blocking respiration rather than acting chemically. Applied as a contact foliar spray, it controls aphids, spider mites, rust mites, whiteflies, scale-insect larvae, psyllids and thrips on wheat, barley, apple, pear, tomato, pepper, cucumber, onion, strawberry, soybean and ornamentals, with up to four sprays per season and no pre-harvest interval.
