About this product
Siesta Extra is a broad-spectrum systemic fungicide combining two active ingredients — azoxystrobin (200 g/L) and cyproconazole (80 g/L) — formulated as a suspension concentrate. It controls powdery mildew, septoria, rusts, alternaria, sclerotinia, grey mould and other diseases across wheat, barley, rapeseed, sunflower and soybean. Applied by spraying at 0.5–0.75 L/ha during the growing season, ideally preventively before infection, with up to two treatments per season.

Dual systemic fungicide: azoxystrobin (strobilurin, QoI) inhibits mitochondrial respiration by blocking electron transport in ATP synthesis, while cyproconazole (triazole, DMI) inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal cell membranes; both move systemically with translaminar redistribution.
