About this product
Selfos is a broad-spectrum fumigant based on aluminium phosphide (560 g/kg), supplied as gas-generating tablets. On contact with moisture in the air the tablets release phosphine gas, which penetrates the grain bulk and stored produce and kills all developmental stages of common storage insect pests. It is used in elevators, grain warehouses, ship holds, containers and wagons, with tablets placed in the grain or on pallets. Exposure lasts three to ten days depending on temperature.
