About this product
Poncho Beta is an insecticidal seed treatment for sugar beet, formulated as a flowable concentrate (FS) that combines two active ingredients: clothianidin (400 g/l), a systemic neonicotinoid, and beta-cyfluthrin (53.34 g/l), a contact pyrethroid. Clothianidin is absorbed by the developing roots and moves upward through the plant, while beta-cyfluthrin stays in the seed zone to protect the germinating seed. Applied to seed at processing plants before sowing at 75–150 ml per 100,000 seeds, it protects emerging seedlings from a complex of soil-dwelling and foliar pests.
