Polymix

Polymix is a bacterial inoculant based on spores of Bacillus polymyxa, Bacillus megaterium, Bacillus licheniformis and Azotobacter chroococcum with a titer of at least 1.0x10^8 CFU/g. The bacteria fix 15 to 25 kg of atmospheric nitrogen per hectare over a season and convert hard-to-reach phosphorus and potassium into plant-available forms, letting growers cut mineral P-K rates by up to 20 percent. Their metabolites, including auxins, gibberellins, cytokinins, amino acids and vitamins, stimulate root growth, seed germination and beneficial soil microflora across field, vegetable and fruit crops.
