About this product
Pochvo
Pochvo is a biological soil insecticide against larvae and adults of Colorado potato beetle, chafers, mole crickets, click beetles, wireworms, cutworms, nematodes and other pests in open field and greenhouses. Spores of Metarhizium anisopliae and Beauveria bassiana penetrate the insect cuticle and spread through the soil, so the product is incorporated in autumn and spring before tillage, and plants are sprayed in summer when pests appear. Activation needs soil moisture of at least 50 %, and treatments are done in the evening or in overcast weather. Manufacturer: Biotech Active.

- Soil pests: powder 100 g per 1 sotka (10×10 m; 10 kg/ha) mixed with 1–2 kg of carrier; liquid 1 L/ha in 300–350 L of water; nematodes: 100–200 g per 1 sotka monthly; above-ground pests: 15–20 g/10 L (aphids, thrips), 10–15 g/10 L (whitefly, hairy rose beetle, grasshoppers, locusts), 10–12 g/10 L (other insects); manure: 100 g per 10 m3; seed treatment: liquid 20–30 ml or powder 50 g per 1 kg of seed in 100–200 ml of water; first application up to 200 g per 1 sotka or 2 L/ha, preventive summer treatment down to 50 g per 1 sotka

- In autumn and spring before tillage (2 times a month), in summer 1–2 times a month depending on the pest, and preventively before planting or when pests become active. Powder is spread evenly and then incorporated (disking, stubble cultivation) or placed in planting holes; liquid is applied with a boom or knapsack sprayer over the top and underside of the leaf, or by watering with incorporation to 5–10 cm; keep the prepared spray solution refrigerated for no longer than 3 hours. Against aphids and thrips spray the leaf underside; against ants and termites drench the soil where they nest. Seed is soaked on the day of sowing or 2–3 days before. Treat in the evening or in overcast weather, at soil moisture of at least 50 %.
