Pioneer P9985 AQ is a single-cross dent corn hybrid of the medium-late maturity group, with an FAO rating of 370. Part of Corteva's Optimum AQUAmax line, it has excellent drought tolerance and moisture release, allowing efficient use of available moisture. The tall plant combines high resistance to stem and root lodging with good early development and good tolerance to helminthosporiosis. Suited to grain and alcohol production, it withstands monoculture and minimum tillage well at optimal sowing dates.
