About this product
iSCOUT is an electronic insect trap with a sticky plate and integrated electronics: a camera system, a modem and a power source with a solar panel. The camera photographs the trap on a user-set schedule, and each image is sent over LTE as soon as it is taken.
A rechargeable battery and solar panel keep the trap running in the field, while a built-in GPS receiver records where it is installed. The control unit also logs readings from connected sensors.
