Penncozeb is a contact, preventive fungicide formulated as a wettable powder containing mancozeb at 800 g/kg. It forms a protective layer on plant surfaces that blocks fungal infection, controlling late blight and Alternaria on potato and tomato, downy mildew on grapevine, and scab and leaf spots on apple. Applied by spraying during the growing season before disease symptoms appear, it offers multi-site activity with no resistance risk and broad tank-mix compatibility.
