Октант — це системний інсектицид від DEFENDA у формі водорозчинних гранул із вмістом неонікотиноїду тіаметоксаму 250 г/кг. Завдяки контактно-кишковій дії препарат контролює широкий комплекс гризучих та сисних шкідників на пшениці й інших зернових колосових культурах, а також на сої. Його вносять обприскуванням по вегетації нормою 0,1–0,15 кг/га у 200–300 літрах робочого розчину на гектар, забезпечуючи системний захист тривалістю до двадцяти діб.
