About this product
Oktant is a systemic insecticide from DEFENDA formulated as water-dispersible granules containing the neonicotinoid thiamethoxam at 250 g/kg. It works through contact and stomach action to control a broad complex of chewing and sucking pests on wheat and other cereals plus soybean. Applied as a foliar spray at 0.1 to 0.15 kg/ha in 200 to 300 litres of water per hectare, it delivers systemic protection lasting up to twenty days.
