About this product
Octant WG is a systemic neonicotinoid insecticide from DEFENDA, formulated as water-dispersible granules containing thiamethoxam at 250 g/kg. It works through contact and stomach action to control a broad complex of insect pests on wheat and other small-grain cereals and on soybean. Applied as a foliar spray at 0.1-0.15 kg/ha in 200-300 L/ha of water, it moves systemically through the plant and provides protection for up to 20 days.
