About this product
Engine cleaner Hi-Gear Engine Shine Foaming Degreaser
Engine Shine Foaming Degreaser contains powerful emulsifiers that make it possible to soften and remove any dirt in the engine bay, even the most ingrained. The active foam stays on vertical surfaces for a long time, providing excellent cleaning of difficult soiling.
Purpose: for the care of a vehicle's engine bay.
Advantages
Quickly removes any contamination in the engine bay, such as burnt-on technical fluids, oil streaks and road salt residues. Prevents the destruction of the wiring in the engine bay by aggressive media and reduces the risk of a short circuit, protecting against the danger of fire. Compatibility: safe for plastic and rubber.
Application
Warm the engine up to a temperature of +50…+60°C. Switch it off. Shake the can vigorously several times. Apply the product heavily to the parts being cleaned, avoiding contact of the cleaner with electronic units. After 10–15 minutes, rinse off with a strong jet of water. A high-pressure washer may be used. Direct the jet from top to bottom, avoiding contact with non-sealed electrical assemblies. Let the engine dry (15–20 minutes). Short-term contact of the cleaner with the drive belts of auxiliary units is permissible. Attention! If the product gets onto the vehicle's paintwork, rinse it off with a jet of water immediately. Do not wipe.
