MCP — feed-grade monocalcium phosphate, a concentrated mineral source of phosphorus and calcium. It is supplied as a free-flowing granular product, dissolves well in water and in citric acid, providing stable and readily available phosphorus. It is used mainly as a component of feed concentrates, compound feeds, mineral and other feeds, where a reliable supply of phosphorus and calcium supports the development of bone tissue and metabolism. Stable quality from batch to batch makes it a reliable source of phosphate for feeding programs.
