Michelin MEGAXBIB R1 is specially developed for fitting to high-capacity combine harvesters. A huge contact area and an extra-large air chamber, combined with a special casing construction with very flexible sidewalls, allow it to carry extremely high loads at relatively low pressure.

The wide footprint and flat tread distribute the load evenly across the whole area, which helps to maximise flotation and to minimise compaction of the fertile soil layer and damage to crops and their root systems. Low tyre pressure and the sidewall structure give the machine a soft, comfortable ride, with remarkable stability and handling on the road.

Unlike standard tyres, the MEGAXBIB R1 casing has two steel belts, which allows it to carry increased loads. Quality lugs minimise slip, improving self-cleaning, mobility on soft soils and excellent traction, and therefore increase the speed of work in field conditions. Wide, deep, straight tread bars provide even wear, while the modern compound resists damage of all kinds well, extending service life and reducing downtime.
