X1.55M is a compact tractor with a synchro-shuttle mechanical gearbox and a turbocharged four-cylinder diesel rated at 55 hp. Drive passes through a dry single-disc clutch, four-wheel drive engages mechanically, and the independent rear PTO is engaged electronically.
A loader joystick with two mid-mount valves comes as standard, as does a Category I three-point hitch with telescopic stabilisers. Steering is hydrostatic with a tilting column, and the fuel tank sits under the platform.
