About this product
Mannol cleaner Brake Cleaner
Brake Cleaner – a universal, extremely effective degreaser for metal surfaces. It is used primarily to clean surfaces in vehicles and in the home that are intended for further treatment (bonding, painting, application of coatings, sealants and so on).
Properties:
Contains acetone, which is aggressive towards paint coatings, some plastics and rubbers. Before use it is necessary to check the effect on the specific material or coating. If a negative effect is found, these surfaces must be protected in order to avoid chemical damage to them;Removes grease and oil contamination, silicones, some types of paint coatings, chemical residues, dirt, dust, deposits and other contamination that would impair the adhesion of the treated surface to materials (varnishes, paints, adhesives, sealan).Dries quickly, leaves no traces;Recommended for cleaning brake discs and pads – with regular use it extends their service life. Application:
It can be applied by washing off, immersion, spraying and pouring. Large parts and assemblies are best treated by spraying, or wetted with wide brushes, rags or similar means. Usually it is sufficient to spray the degreaser onto the contaminated surfaces and let it run off. After the solvent has evaporated the surfaces will be clean and degreased. In case of heavy contamination the surface must be wiped.
