About this product
Lumisena — a fungicidal seed treatment for sunflower based on oxathiapiprolin (Zorvec, 200 g/l), a piperidinyl-thiazole-isoxazoline that blocks the oxysterol-binding protein in the cells of oomycetes. The product protects the young seedlings from downy mildew (Plasmopara halstedii), in particular from the diffuse form and new races of the pathogen. It is applied once before sowing at a rate of 1,25–1,75 l/t (18,75 µg per seed), which increases germination and rooting without cross-resistance to existing solutions.
