The J27 HST is a J-series sub-compact tractor with a hydrostatic transmission, powered by a 27 hp water-cooled diesel engine. The hydrostatic transmission changes speed and direction smoothly without gear shifts, easing manoeuvring and low-speed work.
For mounted and PTO-driven implements it has an independent PTO that runs separately from the transmission clutch and a Category I three-point hitch with position control that holds the implement at a set height.
