About this product

LG Tossa Barley

LG Tossa is a medium-early, two-row malting barley for the central-western part of Ukraine. It pairs very high yield with 83% extract content and low grain protein (10-11.5%) suited to the brewing industry, and also works as fodder. A balanced 7/9 rating against powdery mildew, dwarf rust, net blotch, rhynchosporium and ramularia supports steady in-season performance. The 75 cm plant sows at 3-3.5 million seeds per hectare in optimal windows, rising to 3.5-4 million later.
