LG Avenue Winter Wheat

LG Avenue is an ultra-early, semi-dwarf winter wheat bred in France for the Polissia, Forest-Steppe and Northern Steppe zones of Ukraine. The B-class bread-making grain carries high protein and 27% gluten, with a falling number of 333 and 827 g/l test weight. Its 70 cm semi-dwarf habit gives a 9/9 lodging rating, while 9/9 drought tolerance suits drier southern fields. Recommended sowing runs from 15 September to 5 October at 4–5 million seeds per hectare.
