LG 50529 SX is a medium-early, Express-tolerant sunflower hybrid for medium- to high-intensity farms in central and north-western Ukraine. It combines broomrape resistance across races A-G, genetic downy mildew resistance and drought tolerance rated 8/9, fitting moisture-limited seasons in the south and east. Early vigour and Phomopsis tolerance both rate 9/9, underpinning even stands and stable oil content. Recommended harvest density is 45-55 thousand plants per hectare depending on moisture.
