About this product
The EC-Ridger is a mechanical weeding and earthing-up machine for ridge crops on 75 cm rows, such as potatoes and carrots, including at later growth stages. An optional subsoiler first loosens the soil between the ridges, then hoeing discs cut weeds from the ridge sides and spring tines loosen the inter-row.
Finally an earthing-up share or earthing-up discs rebuild the ridge, while optional leaf guards protect the crop foliage. The machine is mounted at the front or rear, with automatic or manual steering.
