About this product
Lebosol-HeptaEisen — a micronutrient solution with 4.5% water-soluble iron in a heptagluconic acid (HGA) complex (55 g/l Fe); density 1.25 kg/l, pH 4.0–5.0. Iron is needed for chlorophyll formation, and its shortage leads to chlorosis; the fertilizer is intended to prevent and relieve iron chlorosis.
Per the maker, the complex is taken up quickly by the leaves and through the soil. On grapes, pome fruit, vegetables and strawberries 3–7 l/ha is applied as a foliar spray, for stone fruit 30–60 ml per tree by watering in February or March.
The fertilizer is on the FiBL list.
