Lebosol-Bor — a solution for foliar feeding with 11% water-soluble boron (150 g/l B) as boroethanolamine and 3.46% nitrogen; density 1.36 kg/l, pH 7.2–7.8. The maker presents it as a standard product for correcting boron deficiency, which shows as tissue cracking, heart and dry rot, weak flowering and deformed fruit.
Boron is needed for cell division, cell wall formation and bud quality. For pome fruit, stone fruit and potatoes the rate is 1 l/ha per application, for strawberries 1–2 l/ha.
The fertilizer is permitted in organic farming under the FiBL list.
