About this product
Avitar — an organic NK fertilizer with three natural components: amino acids, humic and fulvic acids and an extract of the seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum. It contains 4.1% nitrogen (47 g/l), 2.1% K₂O (24 g/l) and 25.8% organic matter, pH 9.0–10.0.
Per the maker, amino acids raise stress tolerance and shorten recovery, humic acids improve nutrient uptake and root development, and seaweed with phytohormones strengthens plants. Rates from 2–4 l/ha on vegetables to 4–6 l/ha on pome fruit, for seed treatment 0.2–0.5 l/t.
The fertilizer is on the FiBL list.
