About this product
KVAD — a contact desiccant based on diquat (diquat ion 150 g/l, expressed as diquat dibromide 280 g/l) in the form of a soluble concentrate. On pre-harvest application the product disrupts the cell membranes and the water-holding capacity of the tissues, causing rapid and even drying of the crop and stopping the spread of diseases. It is used on potato, rapeseed, sunflower, soybean and cereals to accelerate ripening and facilitate harvesting — usually at the stage of physiological ripeness, approximately two weeks before harvest.
