Cultivator КПР-5.6 (КРН-5.6) with device for applying liquid fertilisers or crop protection products

Cultivator КРН-5,6 with a device for the application of liquid fertilizers or crop protection products is designed for the inter-row cultivation of row-crop sowings with the simultaneous application of liquid fertilizers.

It is used for:

- undercutting weeds and loosening the soil between the rows to a set depth; - earthing up of plants; - treatment of the protective zones of the rows by the method of covering the weeds with soil; - feeding the plants with mineral fertilizers when fertilizer metering units of the АТП-2 type are fitted; - pre-sowing tillage of the soil.  

They are fitted with an atmospheric-pressure tyre, which provides self-cleaning when working on soils with increased moisture. The rigid and stable parallelogram suspension of the sections of the working elements excludes damage to the crops and provides following of the soil contours. All the assemblies are mounted on rolling bearings.

Fertilizer application system A high-performance and efficient diaphragm electric pump of 12 V with an output of 240l/min., connected to the power system of the tractor. By means of it, liquid 691 are fed from the tank through filters to 2 adjustable valves, which set the rate of fertilizer delivery.

Fertilizer hoppers A reliable tank for liquid fertilizers with a capacity of 800 litres with a tap for draining the residues of liquid fertilizers has been fitted. An additional tank of polymer materials for technical needs (for washing the hands) is built into the main fertilizer tank.
