Crop-residue shredder roller (3 m)

The mounted shredder roller with a drum diameter of 470 mm and a coverage of 3 m is designed for shredding the plant residues of sunflower, maize, rapeseed and other crops. It shreds the stubble into a fraction 5-12 cm long, which has a favourable effect on the structure of the soil, fills it with organic matter, partially loosens and removes weeds, retards the evaporation of moisture, regulates the temperature of the surface layer, restrains weed growth, protects against weathering, enriches the soil with organic matter. The roller ensures quality of work at a soil moisture of 12 to 25 %.

Design features of the shredder roller:
