About this product
Kariolis — a two-component fungicidal seed treatment that combines fludioxonil (25 g/l) and metalaxyl-M (10 g/l) in the form of a flowable concentrate for seed treatment. It protects the seed of sunflower, rapeseed, soybean, maize, pea, sorghum and sugar beet against seed-borne and soil infection — downy mildew, fusarium root rot, pythium, white rot and seed mould. It is applied once before sowing by treating the surface of the seed with special equipment, providing lasting protection without affecting the sowing qualities of the seed.

Combination seed treatment: fludioxonil (FRAC 12) acts by contact, inhibiting fungal osmotic signal transduction on the seed surface, while metalaxyl-M (FRAC 4) is systemically taken up to block RNA polymerase in oomycetes — together protecting the germinating seed from seed- and soil-borne infection.
