BM 300 is a trailed six-row defoliator with a steel flail shaft and two cleaning shafts. It is used mainly in a two-phase harvesting process for beets, chicory roots and celeriac. The leaf is chopped across the full width of the machine and laid in line between the rows of roots. It is driven from the tractor PTO.
