Gladiator

Gladiator — a systemic post-emergence herbicide in the form of a suspension concentrate containing 700 g/l of metamitron — a triazinone that blocks photosynthesis in photosystem II. The product destroys a broad spectrum of dicotyledonous and annual grass weeds, in particular common amaranth, fat hen, chamomile species, knotweeds and cleavers, in sugar beet crops. Metamitron is absorbed through the roots and leaves, so the product is applied to the soil or post-emergence at the cotyledon — first leaf stage of the weeds, using 200–300 l/ha of spray solution.
